Not Much To Quibble About in Pasting of Colts

In the most meaningful game of the preseason, the Pack passed with flying colors...literally. After a slow start, Aaron Rodgers caught fire, throwing for nearly 200 yards and three TDs in the first half as the Pack used a familiar tool-turnovers-to turn the game in their favor.

The Rodgers to Finley connection is in midseason form as the young tight end seems primed to emerge as a Pro Bowl talent. The offense hummed in the second quarter, moving downfield effortlessly through the air and on the ground.

The defense got burned early by Peyton Manning, but settled down late in the half, applying pressure and forcing mistakes. Rookie Morgan Burnett jumped a route and recorded his first interception. Linebacker Frank Zombo made another strong case for a roster spot, hitting Manning and causing a fumble, nearly leading to another touchdown.

Most important, it appears the Pack escaped any major injuries. It's unlikely most of the starters will play much in the preseason finale, so for all intents and purposes the next time we see the Pack will be in the opener in Philly.

Can't. Wait.
